Jussi Seppänen

Jussi Seppänen is known as a versatile cellist who is equally at home as a chamber musician, orchestra player and baroque cellist.
He has been a member of the orchestra of the Finnish National Opera since 2004.

Most of the rest of the artistic activity is spent working with period instruments. Seppänen is a member of the baroque ensemble Baccano, Trio Origo, the Finnish Baroque Orchestra and the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra. He has recorded extensively with period instrument ensembles and regularly performs both in Finland and in several European countries.
