
Yovan Markovitch
Yovan Markovitch is a French musician who studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Maurice Gendron and Michel Strauss, and at Yale University with Aldo Parisot. Markovitch was interested in quartet playing early on in his career and co-founded the Castagneri String Quartet. The Quartet performed around the world for more than 10 years. In 2005, Markovitch joined the Ysaÿe Quartet, playing cello with them for nine years. Since the beginning of 2014, he has been with the Danel Quartet. He also teaches chamber music at the Lyon Conservatory.Programme
