Takapiha Quartet

Tuija Hakkila, piano
Kasmir Uusitupa, violin
Atte Kilpeläinen, viola
Anna Westerlund, cello

Takapiha Quartet made their debut in the spring of 2023 by playing the Brahms A Major piano quartet. The repertoire is built with old and familiar, but also with never before heard music. The piano hammers, strings, bow hairs, felt and rosin make a combination which brings the music to life.
