Meeri Pulakka

Soprano Meeri Pulakka is a versitile musician, who moves between different genres from barock to modern and from chamber music to opera. Pulakka has sung with many Finnish orchestras, including Avanti! chamber ensemble, Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra, Finnish Chamber Orchestra and Joensuu City Orchestra. She has worked with conductors like Juha Kangas, Sakari Oramo, Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Matias Häkkinen and Andrew Lawrence-King. Her latest opera roles include the role of Vitellia in Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito, Cleorpatra’s role in Handel’s opera Giulio Cesare and Madame Euterpova in Menotti’s opera Help! Help! The Globolinks. Meeri Pulakka sung her debut concert with a total modern music repertoire in the Helsinki Music Centre’s Young Artists’ concert series in January 2019.
