Oliver Triendl

Olivier Triendl has gained a reputation as one of the most versatile players of his instrument. He is especially interested in rarely performed repertoire from the Classical and Romantic periods and has a commitment to contemporary works. Triendl features on around 100 recordings and has given concerts at all the major music venues in Europe as well as in North and South America, Asia, South Africa and Russia. As a soloist, Triendl has performed together with the Bamberg and Munich Symphony Orchestras, many of the German radio orchestras, the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, the Mozarteum Orchestra of Salzburg, the St Petersburg Camerata, the Czech Philharmonic, the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. In 2006 Triendl founded the Fürstensaal Classix International Festival of Chamber Music in Kempten in Bavaria’s Allgäu region.
