Paula Ernesaks

Paula Ernesaks (b. 1997) begun playing the French horn at the age of 14 under the guidance of Mari Loiske at the Music institute of Espoo. A year later she continued her studies at the Youth department of the Sibelius Academy and continued her Bachelor’s studies in Sibelius Academy from 2016 with Jukka Harju and Tero Toivonen. Her orchestral experience includes both youth and professional orchestras in Finland and around Europe. During 2019 to 2021 Paula Ernesaks was a member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra Academy, the Karajan Academy. Beginning of spring 2022 she has been a permanent member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
