Pauliina Koskela

Pauliina Koskela is a French horn player from Järvenpää. She began her studies at the Central Uusimaa School of Music and continued at the Sibelius Academy, where she graduated with a master’s degree a few years later. In 2000, she won first prize in the French horn category in the Lahti National Wind Instrument Competition. Koskela was a freelance musician in Helsinki, playing with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Sinfonia Lahti, the Finnish National Opera and the Helsinki City Theatre. In spring 2011 she became a permanent member of the Tampere Philharmonic.
