Pekka Mikkola

Pekka Mikkola is an award-winning Finnish tango and schlager singer. The most prominent moment of his career was his win at the Tangomarkkinat (annual tango singing competition in Seinäjoki, Finland) in 2012. Pekka has also won a schlager competition called Green meadows in 2006. For ten years he was touring frequently as a singer all over traditional Finnish countryside dance and music performance venues, and in pop-song concerts. His main workplace nowadays for the last nine years has been music teacher at the Kuhmo elementary and high school.
