Taavi Oramo

’Only uneven in places’ (Helsingin Sanomat, 9.6.2014) Taavi Oramo continues to explore his options and is studying conducting at the Sibelius Academy. His latest ventures include some pretty arty laptop contributions in the improvisation group Tölöläb, production of the Eloa Festival, laying down a few tracks, and some assorted and even rewarding concerts. Oramo sings, conducts, and is also very happy to play clarinet when the opportunity arises, and ever more evenly.
