Aura Go

Pianist Aura Go completed her undergraduate studies in her native Australia, and then studied at Yale University under Peter Frankl. She is currently studying for a doctorate at the Sibelius Academy under the artistic supervision of Erik T. Tawaststjerna. Go has been soloist with most of Australia's professional orchestras and regularly performs at international music festivals, including the Edinburgh Festival, Melbourne International Arts Festival and Metropolis New Music Festival. Equally at home with old and new music, Go has collaborated with numerous composers and given premieres in Australia, the USA and Finland. She has recently released her first CD, Five Rocks in a Japanese Garden, a collection of previously unrecorded Japanese works for two pianos. Go is in the Young Chamber Musicians programme.
