Dalia Stasevska

Dalia Stasevska made her successful debut in the 2015� season conducting the Oslo Philharmonic, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Umeå Norrlandsoperan, Basel Symphony Orchestra, and the Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg. During the 2016–2017 she has led the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Tapiola Sinfonietta and Sinfonia Lahti. In Finland Stasevska has also conducted the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Turku Philharmonic, Oulu Symphony Orchestra, Avanti! and at the Savonlinna Opera Festival. She has frequently been guest conductor at the Finnish National Opera and at Savonlinna. Stasevska still also makes an appearance as violist at many music festivals. She has also assisted the conductors Esa-Pekka Salonen and Paavo Järvi, and from 2011 to 2015 was Artistic Director of the Kamarikesä Festival in Helsinki. Stasevska studied violin and viola at the Sibelius Academy and at Stockholm’s Royal Academy under Jorma Panula and at the Sibelius Academy under Leif Segerstam.
