Dasol Kim

Korean pianist Dasol Kim entered the international limelight when he performed as soloist with the New York Philharmonic on tour in Seoul. Kim has also played with the Tonhalle Orchester Zürich, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Berlin Chamber Orchestra, MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Concerto Budapest and National Orchestra of Belgium. The orchestras at these concerts were under the baton of such conductors as Alan Gilbert, David Zinman, Lawrence Foster and Marin Alsop. Kim appears regularly at music festivals around the world, and has worked with such illustrious musicians as David Geringas, Gautier Capuçon, Svetlin Roussev and Myung-wha Chung. Deutsche Grammophon released his debut album of solo piano works by Schumann in 2015. His main mentors have been Gerald Fauth and Arie Vardi. Artist's/Ensemble's own website
