Edward Arron

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, cellist Edward Arron made his debut in New York in 2000 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Since then he has given recitals, played as soloist with orchestra, and performed chamber music all over North America, Europe and Asia. Arron was the artistic director of the Metropolitan Museum Artists in Concert chamber music series for 10 years. Currently he is the artistic director of several concert series around the USA and curates his own series, ‘Edward Arron and Friends’, at the Caramoor International Music Festival. Arron has performed a number of times at New York’s Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. He began playing the cello aged seven, continued his studies under Peter Wiley in New York, and graduated from the Juilliard School, where he had been taught by Harvey Shapiro.
