Filippo Mazzoli

Filippo Mazzoli was born in Italy, he attended lessons held by professors such as A. Nicolet, A. Adorjan and T. Wye. In June 2019 he graduated cum laude in flute (interpretation) at the Superior Conservatory of the Liceu in Barcelona (Spain). In 1998 he participated in Paris in the "2°Prix Jean-Pierre Rampal". He collaborates regularly as a solo flute with several chamber ensembles and orchestras including the Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, the Orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence, the Solisti Veneti, the Verdi Symphony Orchestra in Milan. Until 2017 he was solo flute of the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio di Parma (musical director Y. Temirkanov). He played as soloist with Deutsche Kammervirtuosen of Mainz, the New York Chamber Musicians, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. Since 2011 he is a member of the French wind quintet Anemos in Paris. He has recorded several CDs and DVDs as a soloist, chamber musician and first flute in orchestra. Since 1997 he has devoted himself to teaching in several musical institutions in Europe. He has been a member of the jury in several national and international auditions and awards. In May 2020 his album as soloist "La Belle-Epoque" will be on sale for the label "Dynamic-Naxos".
