Elina Päkkilä

Violin

Elina Päkkilä is an orchestral and chamber musician from Järvenpää, in southern Finland. She studied at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Royal Swedish Academy of Music in Stockholm and the Sibelius Academy, from which she graduated with a master's degree in 2014. Her mentors have included Petri Aarnio, Cecilia Zilliacus and Anatoli Melnikov. Päkkilä plays in Sinfonia Lahti and is a guest player with Avanti and the orchestra of the Finnish National Opera. She is also a member of the Nome Quartet and is sometimes involved in ensemble projects. She also appears regularly in the series of chamber music concerts organised by Sinfonia Lahti. The Nome Quartet is a member of the Kuhmo Chamber Music Quartet Academy.
