Thomas Florio

Thomas Florio

Vocalists

American baritone Thomas Florio thinks life is too short for boring biographies. He went to school, earned a couple degrees, and has sung with a bunch of different companies, just like everybody else. He's really good at singing Italian opera, German Lied, and American musical theater, and gladly leaves the French stuff to somebody else. Narrating orchestral works is also a love of his, especially children's concerts – that's when he gets to use all his really funny voices. His favorite operatic role to date was Zorro in Zorro jagt den Carmen-Schatz because he got to wear a funny beard, pretend to get drunk, and have a sword fight.
