Victoire Bunel

Mezzo-soprano Victoire Bunel began her musical studies aged eight, playing the piano and then studying singing at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP), where she has been a pupil of Valérie Guillorit since 2013. Bunel has sung with the French Radio youth choir, receiving a first-class musical and vocal education accordingly. Bunel also graduated from the Sorbonne in 2009 with a degree in musicology. She is interested in a wide range of repertoire and has appeared both with piano and as soloist with orchestra. She took the special prize at the Toulouse International Singing Competition and has attended masterclasses given by Anna Sofie von Otter, Julius Drake, Dietrich Henschel and others. She made her debut at the opera in 2012 and has since performed in a large number of opera productions.
